Room spray

Room Spray for Animals (not the one for spraying male cats)

In a spritzer bottle (in plant area at stores) put in rose oil, honeysuckle oil and eucalyptus blend. I buy the Abbey & Sullivan oils from Crafts 2000 for a few dollars a bottle. I used about 10 to 15 drops of each. You feel free and change it to the power of the smell you want, but that should get you started. I then added 1 cup of water to the bottle and mixed.

This spray is to be used as a air freshener would be used. It is not the furniture spray or the spray to be used when you have a male cat spraying. I'll post those separate.

Can you imagine?

Can you imagine a world without witches,
A world with all people the same?
Where the only known dragons are hiding in books,
And children are terribly tame?
A world without magic would be sad indeed.
I cannot imagine the pain
Of having a world where there's no Santa Claus,
Where wizards are searched for in vain.
Can you imagine a world without spells,
That science and businesses run?
And think of the sadness a unicorn feels
When he no longer plays in the sun.
Can you imagine a world without witches,
No elves and no magical pools?
And can you imagine how dull it would be
If all that we had were the schools?
I cannot imagine a world without witches,
A world with no magical wand.
A world without beauty, or even a dream,
Or a wood sprite of whom to be fond.
They say I should grow up and be more mature,
Like a normal adult ought to do.
But I'd rather, at night, go to dance with a witch,
And I'll bet that you feel that way, too.

Oats, peas, beans, and barley grow....

Oats, peas, beans and barley grow,
Oats, peas, beans and barley grow,
Do you or I or anyone know;
How oats, peas, beans and barley grow.

Yes this means we planted our veggie garden last night. This is all new to me, I have had gardens planted all around me in my lifetime but never cared enough or had the time to ask the questions I have now.

My sister grew a wonderful garden every year and it didn't take up much space or time. She always had extra corn or tomatoes to share. Did I ever work the garden with her...did I ever ask her those questions? No I didn't and now it is to late.

So here we are as a family planting these little seeds into Mother Earth with faith that they will grow and feed us one day. We trust that those little seeds know what to do....I just hope we know how to help them along the way.

I feel that my sister is helping in her spirit guide ways, giving me that gut feeling on what is right and what isn't. I feel better knowing she is around here somewhere watching over me as I carry on her garden as she always did.

Wild Flowers and Magic

Wild flowers and magic have been around as long as anyone knows. They are two things that occur in nature without our help, but flourish when we tend to them a little. As children we all love the flowers. And the magic comes naturally to all we do, but as we grow older most people put away those things of childhood and move on.

Wild flowers don't grow in the structured way people tend to want their gardens...they are messy and uncontrollable in their minds. People tend to want control and symmetry to their lives and don't want the unexpected.

Then their are people who love to let nature go the way she was meant to live! Let the wild flowers grow in their lives and in their yards. Mother earth has given us flowers and magic to nurture and I tend to learn all I can about both!

I love the unexpected, I love messy and uncontrollable. I love wild flowers and magic!
